Points Special

Tom Nook will hold Point Specials on weekends that don't have any other events scheduled. When a Points Special is on, you will receive five times the normal amount of reward points for shopping at Nook's (the normal rate is 1 point per 100 bells, so now you get 5 points per 100 bells).

The Points Specials are a good way to quickly go up in membership level to get a greater discount at Nook's. It is a good idea to order expensive items from the catalog to increase your points.
