Feng Shui and HRA Score GuideHRA scores are based on several factors, which are outlined in this guide. All items in your house contribute to your HRA score, but there are ways to boost your score. The total score is calculated by adding basic points to bonus points and then subtracting penalty points. Feng Shui, in Animal Crossing, means organizing items of certain colors inside your house in order to increase your luck in the game, and also give you a HRA bonus. Basic OrganizationA basic rule is to make sure your furniture is organized based on common sense - don't face wardrobes toward the wall, make sure you can access chairs and beds, etc. Basically, set your room up properly and don't just dump stuff anywhere. You will lose points if you do not follow these rules, as follows:
Also, make sure you don't have any cockroaches - if you don't go into your house for a while, you will have cockroaches, just run over them to kill them. Feng ShuiThe rules of Feng Shui in Animal Crossing are simple.
Having your feng shui correct will increase your luck with bells and items in the game, and give you a HRA bonus of 100 points x color count for properly placed items. Lucky Items: Furniture Series, Themes and SetsCompleting furniture sets will give you a large boost to your HRA score. Series and Themes have matching wallpapers and carpets, and you can only get points for one Series or Theme per room. Sets are smaller and can be added to any rooms to gain HRA points. Each room in your house is marked separately, so you can have different series and themes in different rooms. Note: On HTA, when viewing an item set, the “set type” will tell you if it is a Series, Theme or Set. Other HTA set types do not count towards HRA points. However, complete dinosaur and gyroid sets do count as sets. SeriesFurniture series consist of 10 pieces of furniture, plus a wallpaper and carpet. When you have all 10 pieces of furniture in the series, you will receive bonuses as follows:
