Hybrid Flowers Guide

Planting certain flowers next to each other can result in spawning hybrid flowers.

In Animal Crossing: Wild World, the best formation for breeding was a “checker” pattern, but this does not seem to be the case in AC:CF.

The following list is ordered by probability of spawning, from most rare flowers to least rare flowers:

1. Blue Roses
2. Black Tulips, Blue Pansies, Black Cosmos, Black Roses, Jacob's Ladder
3. Purple Roses
4. White Carnation
5. Pink Tulips, Purple Tulips, Purple Pansies, Orange Pansies, Pink Cosmos,Orange Cosmos,Pink Roses,Orange Roses
6. Red Carnation,Pink Carnation
7. regular, non-hybrid flowers

• Gold Roses never wither, but they can disappear after trampling.
• Spawnings significantly increase on days following precipitation.
• You can also increase spawnings by watering healthy flowers.
• Hybrids can spawn their parents. For example, Orange Cosmos next to Orange Cosmos can spawn Orange Cosmos, Red Cosmos, or Yellow Cosmos.
• Two flowers near the top edge of a cliff may spawn a flower at the bottom of the cliff.
