Neighbor Personalities

There are 6 different animal personalities - 3 male personalities and 3 female personalities.

The names of the personality types are taken from guides on previous versions of Animal Crossing - PinKirby for AC and Zealous1714 for AC:WW.

The male personalities are Cranky/Grump, Jock/Athlete and Lazy/Doofus.

The female personalities are Snooty/Snob, Peppy/Valley Girl and Normal/Sweetie.

Grumps talk in a gruff voice and sleep in until at least 10am. They describe themselves as “Grumpy Old Men”.

Cranky animals visit the city between noon and 11pm.

Jocks get out of bed early and talk about sports a lot. They are friendly and helpful, but the talk of how many crunches etc they have just done sometimes wears thin.

Jocks visit the city between 9am and 10pm.

Lazy animals mention that they are too lazy or couldn't be bothered doing things. They are usually friendly, but can get moody.

Lazy animals visit the city between 10am and 8pm.

Snobs are always saying things like they have better fashion taste than you, they know how to decorate their house better than you, etc. They are into fashion. They get up around 9am.

Peppy animals will talk about boys and gossip about other neighbors. They are sometimes ditzy, e.g. on Christmas Day, they tell a story about how they thought it was halloween.

Sweeties are helpful and friendly and will rarely get mad at you.

Sweeties visit the city between 8am and 7pm.
