Your Profile

You will have created your profile when you registered, but it can be updated anytime by clicking the “edit profile” option at the bottom of your profile.

If you set your profile to “public” anyone can see it, even if they are not logged in.

If you set your profile to “private”, only you can see it. This is useful if you are just interested in keeping track of your game for your own use.

The other option is “friends”, which means that users who are friends with you can view your profile, and noone else can view it.

Your town details can also be edited in the “edit profile” page. For example, if your house gets upgraded or you wish to enter your HRA score, you go to “My Profile” from the left menu, and then click “edit profile” at the bottom of the page.

Your Wish List will also appear on your profile. To find out how to populate your wish list, and your items list, see Lists.

Badges you have earned will appear at the top of your profile. Here is an explanation of the badges and how to get them:

• Featured Town Badge - receive when your town is selected as the Featured Town. This badge also appears on your town page with the dates that your town was featured.

• Story Competition Badge - receive for winning a HTA Story Competition. This badge also appears on your stories page with the date you won.

• Wiki Contributor Badge - receive for updating the HTA Wiki. The update must be some useful information, image or correction.

• Happy Birthday Badge - receive for logging into HTA or submitting a story during our first birthday celebrations: Dec 2009 - Feb 2010.

• One Year Membership Badge - receive on the 1st anniversary of signing up to HTA.

• Two Year Membership Badge - receive on the 2nd anniversary of signing up to HTA.

• Feedback Badge - receive for sending in feedback, corrections or suggestions to HTA.

• Pattern Badge - receive for submitting a pattern to HTA.
