Snowman Series

In winter you can make Snowmen. If the Snowman you create is happy with his shape - he will send a letter thanking you which includes a piece of furniture from the Snowman Series. Each furniture item in this series is worth 8,888 bells. (The number 8 looks like a snowman!)

During winter there are two snowballs per day. Snowballs can be rolled in the snow and will get larger as they roll. Small snowballs are hard to control and can easily be destroyed on trees, fall of cliffs and drop into water. As the ball gets larger it is easier to control (still be careful of water!). Roll the balls to the same area, making sure one is slightly smaller than the other.

A good way to think of how big to make the Snowman's head compared to his body is to think of the number 8 (as shown in the game). Keep rolling the body until it can not get any bigger, the head is rolled only little smaller than the body!

When you are happy with the size, roll the small (head) ball into the large (body) ball and viola! Snowman!

Note: if you make the head too big you can shrink it by rolling it on dirt instead of on snow.
