PaintingBuy from Redd and then donate to the Museum or display in your house - watch out for fakes - they are worthless. There are 23 paintings required to complete your museum collection. Two paintings, the Basic Painting and the Common Painting, are available as a Nook Special - Nook does not sell fakes, so you know these ones are real. All paintings are 3,920 bells and sell for 490 bells (unless they are fake and then they sell for 0 bells). Your Neighbors may request furniture of this type. The paintings in the game are all based on real paintings. The list of paintings and their real names are as follows:
The Portrait from Katie and Kaitlin is also classed as a Painting, so you can give this to your neighbors if they ask for a “Painting”. The portrait is not a real painting that goes in the Museum, though. |
